PADS Overnight Emergency Shelter
PADS overnight emergency shelter is one of the largest homeless shelters in Illinois, serving 150+ men, women and children each night.
The overnight emergency shelter is run each night by an area congregation that brings all the necessary food and provides volunteers from before the shelter opens at 7:00 p.m. until it closes at 7:00 a.m.
Many volunteers have come to treasure their night at the emergency shelter where they are able to serve others in such a fundamental and meaningful way.
